Announcements
- The fundraiser is quickly coming to an end. Please try to get in a few more sales if possible before Wednesday, Octoer 28th. On the 28th, please have your rows and columns totaled on your fundraiser brouchure and make sure the money that you turn in matches the amount that you are supposed to have. Students will turn in all money when they drop their instruments off on Wednesday morning. If you have any cash, please write a check for that amount so the students are not carrying cash here at school.
- Students can receive extra credit for attending any musical event. Please return a program signed by a parent with the students name written on it in order for them to receive the extra credit. If you did not pick up a program, a signed note from mom or dad will work.
- Students should never leave their instruments in the band room over night. 1. They aren't practicing, 2. their instrument is in danger in case of theft or fire.
- Students should have a pencil, their instrument and their binder in class everyday.

October 30th - Region Band Audition money and form due
November 1st - Winthrop tuba/baritone ensemble concert. 7:30 PM in recital hall
November 2nd - Winthrop Jazz Ensemble concert - 7:30 PM in the recital hall.
November 3rd - Winthrop Clarinet Choir - 7:30 PM in the recital hall
November 5th - Horn and percussion recital 7:30 PM in recital hall
